Our Story

Penned by Adam and Rob, Motor City Curb Appeal

Drive down any Michigan street in March.

Go ahead, we'll wait.

Mailboxes leaning like they've had too many cold ones. Doors hanging open, flags snapped off, rusted posts. The worst part is, half of them were replaced less than a year ago…

At some point you either accept it looks like crap or you get annoyed enough to do something about it.

We got annoyed.

So we built one that will survive

It is crazy to say function first for a mailbox design, but it's true. If it can't take a Michigan winter and all that comes with it, then what's the point?

Then we had some fun with it

Here's where it got interesting. Once it could survive the seasons, we thought, why not celebrate them?

Every Motor City box is built to style it however you want. Flag out for the Fourth. Something ridiculous for Halloween, because it's what your kids wanted. Team colors for when the Lions are actually good.

And hey, if you like your current mailbox, we have solutions for you too!

While we're being honest...

We're not for everybody. If you want the cheapest box on the shelf, it's out there, and we'll see you back in the mailbox aisle in a year or two...

We're for the house that's put together. The one that shovels their neighbors sidewalk. The one where the porch light actually works.

If that's you, welcome to the block.
